[Snip] After banishing spells and love spells (which we’ll save for another time), the most commonly requested spells are those that draw luck and money, spells to re-weave one’s luck. In the Norse tradition, one’s personal luck is called Hamingja.
It is believed in that tradition that each person comes into this world with his or her store of Hamingja predetermined by his or her deeds in past lives and by the deed’s of their ancestors. It is also believed to be possible to increase or decrease one’s luck by one’s chosen actions. It is with the nurturing of Hamingja that we shall now concern ourselves.
Creating luck is about creating flow. Luck is quixotic; it changes, ebbing and surging in direct response to the situations in which we place ourselves and the energy we expend. Creating luck is about knowing how to manage one’s energy wisely and well. It is also about managing our space and creating ambiance. Let’s discuss a few simple ways to change your luck for the better.
