Their own paths of belief

During last year’s First Look Fair, senior philosophy major Adam Spier found himself smooshed between Campus Crusade for Christ and a Bible study group, the subject of many dirty stares as he tried to advertise for the Pagan Student Union. As the incense billowed above his head, Spier’s sense of awkwardness was all too familiar to him.

“We kept getting dirty looks … all day, and I thought, ‘Yes, we’re sitting over here; yes, we’re pagans, we’re burning incense, get over it,”? said Spier, a follower of a Asatru, a form of neopaganism.
