According to Greek mythology, it is the god of Agriculture. The Chinese know it as The Exorcist; it rules the element Earth. In the Tarot, it is depicted as Strength or Endurance with the symbol ‘8’, the symbol of immortality because only with death will new life begin.

The Indians fear it, calling it Kala or Kali, The Reaper and Bringer of Death. When Saturn rises, it brings destruction, final judgment and mortification.
