Two Lexington residents say they’ve deciphered The Da Vinci Code, working to separate the fact from the fiction in Dan Brown’s best-selling novel. Asbury Theological Seminary professor Ben Witherington and Central Christian Church minister-in-residence Brandon Gilvin have published books that debunk Dan Brown’s theological and historical conspiracy theories.
Witherington’s The Gospel Code: Novel Claims About Jesus, Mary Magdalene and Da Vinci was released by InterVarsity Press on June 1 and is ranked No. 3,745 on Amazon.com.
