New age shop caters to pagans, Wiccans, Buddhists and more

SALINA, Kan. – When Amy Divelbiss opened Gaia’s Garden, she wanted it to be more than just a store – she also wanted it to be a sanctuary. The store, housed in a tiny, narrow building, has been open for two years, but in many ways it is a well-kept secret to mainstream Salina. Perhaps that’s because its inventory is anything but mainstream.

Gaia’s Garden is a New Age store that carries incense, natural herbs, body oils and handmade soaps, tarot cards, crystals and runes, scented candles, beads and body jewelry, Buddhist statues and an eclectic selection of books focusing on magic, witchcraft, mythology and psychic studies.
