Earlier this month, Zoe made derogatory remarks about Newfoundlanders during a night out at the Yellowknife branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. The premier announced his decision a day after resisting repeated calls in the legislature to relieve Zoe of his ministerial responsibilities. At that time, Handley said he was going to give Zoe a second chance.
